Shindler
Shindler’s journey into the gritty shadows of '60s noir began, unexpectedly, in the rigid confines of technical authorship. For years, he lived a nomadic life across the UK, moving from contract to contract, enduring months of isolation away from home and family. To counter the brain-churning precision of procedural writing, he turned to fiction as an escape—crafting short stories in lonely guest rooms as an antidote to strict corporate templates.
A turning point arrived when Shindler and his family left the UK to tackle a daunting renovation project in a rural corner of the Czech Republic. Today, the chaos of that transition has given way to a settled life in a charming, English-cottage-style farmhouse nestled in the foothills of the Beskydy mountains.
This relaxed, rural lifestyle ultimately enabled Shindler to scale up his ambitions from short fiction to complex, full-length thrillers. His latest release, Klub Päris Fantastiline, perfectly mirrors this evolution, blending serious historical themes with the hidden corners of the supernatural. It marks the atmospheric debut of a series deeply rooted in a lifetime of observation, contrast, and survival.
